I know, you’re probably thinking, another CX business class review?! But fear not, today I want to present a totally different experience: the 360 photo version!
The photos below are all 360 photos. In the desktop version, you can use mouse to drag; in the mobile version, you can use your finger to drag as well. I put several such photos here in this post, so it might be a little slow, please give it a few seconds to load. If a photo is completely black and unable to load, you can also click the Facebook link below the photo to view.

Trip Information
Route: LAX-HKG one way business class.
Flight: CX 897, Boeing 777-300ER (77W).
Redemption: 50k AS miles. I used AS miles because my full trip was LAX-HKG-PEK, and I needed to add HKG as a stopover. AA does not allow stopovers, so I needed to use AS.
By the way, my 50k AS miles are directly transferred from SPG points, but this is not the best way to transfer! The best way is to transfer SPG points to Marriott points, and get AS miles via the Marriott Travel Packages!
OneWorld Business Class Lounge LAX
This lounge is quite wide, and the food supply is OK. This is a great lounge for the US.

This is a photo outside the lounge, in LAX terminal B.

I got a porridge as the main dish for breakfast.

I didn’t order the dessert, because I had already eaten a lot of food in the morning in the lounge…
Now it’s sleeping time:

About 4~5 hours later, the dinner is here. The salmon sashimi does not come with soy sauce or wasabi, so it has a little fishy smell. Meh…

I choose the only Chinese style food as my main dish. The white thing is scallops.

I didn’t order the desserts because I don’t like most sweet food. I just ordered a Haagen-Dazs ice cream, and it’s too normal so I didn’t take a picture.
The Arrival Lounge
HKG is a really great airport, as they offer a lounge for arrivals — The Arrival Lounge. The position is outside customs. The ticket to the Arrival Lounge is provided when checked in at LAX. When I arrived it was about 4pm, so I just had my dinner at the lounge. It really saves a lot of money and trouble

This lounge is really small, it’s easy to see via the above 360 photo. But the good thing is they have hot food, and they even have a menu. I ordered a shrimp wonton noodle soup. But I didn’t take a photo of that, because the lounge is so small that it’s impossible to take that 360 photo without including nearby people…
Plaza Premium Lounge HKG
There’s another lounge nearby, the Plaza Premium Lounge. I used my PPS card to get in.

The food is just regular, but it’s enough for me because I just wanted to fill my stomach.
