Citibank 今早開始在網銀中通過彈窗的方式告知持卡人，從9月22日起，Citi 信用卡的一些附加福利將不再提供。大家可以登陸 Citi 網銀，然後前往 Rewards & Benefit → Card Benefit 頁面查看變化。
比如以下是登錄後 Citi Prestige 顯示的信息：
Effective September 22, 2019, Worldwide Car Rental Insurance, Trip Cancellation & Interruption Protection, Worldwide Travel Accident Insurance, Trip Delay Protection, Baggage Delay Protection, Lost Baggage Protection, Medical Evacuation, Citi® Price Rewind, 90 Day Return Protection, and Missed Event Ticket Protection will be discontinued and will no longer be provided for purchases made on or after that date. Coverage for purchases made before that date will continue to be available, and you may continue to file for benefits in accordance with the current benefit terms. Roadside Assistance Dispatch Service and Travel & Emergency Assistance will be discontinued and will not be available on or after September 22, 2019.
You will continue to have Extended Warranty and Damage & Theft Purchase Protection on this account…As a cardmember, you will also continue to receive a range of other card benefits including FICO®Credit Score, Citi® Identity Theft Solutions, and Citi Entertainment.
這些受影響的福利中，包含平常我們大家很看重的一些附加福利：

這些都是大家覺得比較有用，並且平時大家認同的 Citi 還算給力的信用卡福利類別，尤其是 Price Rewind 和 Trip 相關福利。除此之外，一些比較小眾的福利也一併被取消：
- Travel & Emergency Assistance
- Worldwide Travel Accident Insurance
- Baggage Delay Protection
- Lost Baggage Protection
- Medical Evacuation
- Missed Event Ticket Protection
基本上 Citi 所有的信用卡的類似福利從9月22日期都會被砍。只是有的卡基本砍光了，有的還能剩一些。其中 Price Rewind, Return Protection, Trip Cancellation & Interruption Protection, Worldwide Car Rental Insurance, Worldwide Travel Accident Insurance 這幾個福利看起來所有卡都砍掉了。Extended Warranty 以及 Damage & Theft Protection 雖然其他卡保留，但 Dividend 和 Double Cash 這兩張卡居然把這個福利砍了（雖然這兩張卡還保留了一些其他福利）。
一般來說這些福利都是信用卡公司外包給第三方保險公司的，發生如此大規模砍福利的變動，基本上可以確認就是和第三方合約結束了吧。很有可能是第三方在承保過程中損失太大，然後 Citi 不願意用更多錢來續約。
Citi Prestige 信用卡今年本來就大幅調整了福利，比如增加了吃飯 5x，但同時限制了以前最受歡迎的酒店住三送一福利以及將年費提高到 $495。其實在這次調整後，很多人已經覺得 Prestige 的競爭力大不如前，現在還要損失這麼多福利，如果 Citi 沒有其他動作，基本可以預見此卡的持卡人數將會受到很大影響。
