【2016.10.4更新】果然如之前所说，这种支支吾吾的态度看起来就是不小心说漏嘴了。根据媒体报道，Amex 发言人已经正式确认 5x airfare on Platinum Card 会从10月6日开始。通过航司官网，AmexTravel.com, Amex Travel Services 购买的机票可以获得 5x MR pts
AmEx Platinum Card users starting Thursday will earn five points for every dollar spent directly with any airline or on AmEx’s travel website, said American Express spokeswoman Charlotte Fuller, up from the current one point per dollar earned on airfare.
physixfan 自己也向 Amex 客服求证过了，应该是所有版本的白金卡都会从周四起自动 enroll 此新福利。此外 Amex 还对白金商业卡小改进了一下，每笔$5k 以上的消费都可以获得1.5x MR pts（这个与绝大部分朋友应该没啥关系了）。有没有更多的变化或者新卡发行，目前还不清楚。

刚刚 Amex 官方 Twitter 账号在网上确认，10月6日起“白金卡”（并没有说是什么卡）在航司官网买机票可以获得5x积分，有没有更多改变还暂时不清楚。这条回复已经被 @AskAmex 删除了，原来那个人 @sdice 问的问题是:@AskAmex any truths to the rumors about tier one, a new card or update to Amex platinum?

今天 Monkey Miles 细心的发现，AmEx 刚刚提交了“Tier One”的商标申请。他还指出，CSR 在发布前夕也提交了”Reserve”的商标申请。这两个商标申请的时间线相似、内容相似度很高，让人不得不怀疑，AmEx 是不是准备新发一张卡叫 AmEx Platinum Tier One 或者 AmEx Tier One？
